My first consultation with Dr Heaton was in June, an appointment for surgery was today 28th August. I wasn’t in the waiting room more than 15 minutes, called in by Dr Heaton himself, he introduced me to Judy who was there throughout the procedure. I was a little anxious, however, he explained exactly what he was going to accomplish and the steps that were going to be taken. The conversations that we had did not revolve just around the procedure in question but included every day discussions, which certainly was a rarity, both Dr Heaton and Judy could not of made my half hour minor surgery be anything other than very calming and pleasant. Thank you to you both. National Health Service at its best.

Superb care from Chris Heaton, after the diagnosis of my melanoma he put me at ease and fully explained the situation to me. He had me in for surgery the next week. All through surgery he was explaining what was going on and was extremely reassuring . I have been so lucky to have such a brilliant consultant and cant thank him enough for all he has done. After returning today for a look at my scar and then give me the all clear I cant thank Chris and his team of Ann and Emma to making me feel at ease and fully appraised of the situation at all times and all so nice in what was for me a very worrying time.

Thank you Dr Heaton, Emma and Ann for looking after my Dad who is 101 in treating him swiftly with lots of care and attention... he came away very happy that his problem has been sorted on the day of his initial appointment.

Dr Heaton spoke to myself in easy to understand terms and made me feel that he had all the time in the world to see to me today. We built a bit of rapport whilst he carried out his job and I can't speak highly enough of him. The lady who assisted him was also great but I don't have her name
